Information you choose to provide

You may email Small Tool Guides at hello@smalltoolguides.com. If a contact-form delivery service is configured, the site also displays Name, Email, Subject, and Message fields and submits them to that service for delivery to the same editorial address. The form includes a hidden spam-detection field.

Your email provider, the receiving mail service, and any configured form-delivery provider process the information you choose to include. Use the contact channel for editorial messages; do not send passwords, payment details, health information, or other sensitive records.

Basic server information

Like most websites, the hosting provider may process routine technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, browser information, requested pages, timestamps, and error or security logs. Retention and handling by the host are governed by the applicable hosting arrangements.

Calculator inputs and results

The Profit Margin Calculator, Break-Even Calculator, ROI Calculator, and Website Cost Estimator operate locally in your browser. The values or selections you enter and the results produced are not stored by Small Tool Guides, submitted to a server, or included in Google Analytics events. When you choose Download PDF, the file is also generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device without sending its contents to Small Tool Guides.

We measure only aggregate tool actions, including tool_started, tool_completed, tool_result_copied, and tool_pdf_downloaded, together with the tool’s non-personal name. The Website Cost Estimator also records aggregate start, completion, restart, and copy actions. Those events do not contain costs, prices, investments, returns, periods, selections, calculated results, PDF contents, or contact information.

Analytics and Search Console

Small Tool Guides uses Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage, including page views and interactions enabled through the web stream’s Enhanced Measurement settings. Google Analytics may process device, browser, page, referral, and approximate location information according to Google’s applicable terms and privacy documentation. We use this information to understand aggregated performance and improve the publication.

The site initializes Google Consent Mode before the Analytics tag. Analytics storage is currently enabled for measurement, while advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization are disabled. The technical integration exposes a documented update mechanism for compatible consent controls.

Google Search Console may be used to understand how the site appears in search and to diagnose indexing issues. Search Console verification alone does not add visitor-facing analytics scripts to pages.

Advertising

The site includes the Google AdSense publisher loader and a configured publisher identifier for ownership verification. Article ad placements do not render ad units until valid placement identifiers are configured. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization consent signals currently default to denied.

If ad serving is activated, Google and its partners may process information for delivery, measurement, security, and—only where the required choice and consent permit it—personalization. The site’s consent interface and this policy must be reviewed before serving ads in regions where additional notice or consent is required.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar storage because analytics storage currently defaults to granted. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization default to denied. Essential hosting or security infrastructure may use limited technical storage. Browser controls can restrict cookies, though doing so may affect measurement or features on websites generally.

Affiliate links

If a page includes an affiliate link, it may contain an identifier that allows a merchant or affiliate network to attribute a visit or purchase. Affected pages carry a visible disclosure. Refer to our affiliate disclosure.

External links

Articles may link to external websites. Those services have their own privacy practices, and Small Tool Guides does not control how they process information.

Children’s privacy

This publication is intended for business owners and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children.

Changes and questions

This policy may change when the publication or its services change. Material revisions will be reflected by the updated date. Privacy questions can be directed through the contact page.
